In 2004, Vic Leupold and Lee Brohel saw lots of potential in Discount Windows. When they bought it, it was a one man shop with a big sign, “Call XXX-XXXX and we will open.” The business consisted of the old brown jug gas station building and about 1,000 overstock windows on the corner of Ivy and 17th in Junction City. Right away, they created regular hours of operation and had 3 salesmen and a bookkeeper to professionalize the business.

On the 10 year anniversary, in 2014, the business had expanded to providing custom order windows, doors, trim and molding from over 10 major manufacturers; a thriving statewide installation department; deliveries to Oregon, Southwestern Washington and Northern California; and those 1,000 windows had grown to almost 7,000 overstock pieces. From a small supplier of windows for home remodelers, we now provide products not only for homeowner remodeling, but window replacement and new construction for both residential and commercial jobs.

This growth is homegrown and the profits stay right here in the local area. Discount Windows now employs over 25 people year round. We buy from manufacturers with factories right here in the Pacific Northwest. Giving back to our community is an integral part of our business.
